Here we are in the New Year! Let us not forget the things we have
learned from the past year and apply all that new knowledge to Moving Forward!
Let me take this opportunity to say what a wealth of talent I have discovered among my students. Each
of them has applied themselves to the art of Dance while expressing themselves in other art forms as well. Writers
and publishers, Martial Artists, Spiritual Leaders, Graphic Artists and a variety of other art forms have been found in my
classes and I owe a huge Thank You to them all. I am so blessed that each of them has chosen
me to share their miriad of talents with!
I have been
honored to meet many new friends of all types. Not only Dancers but Musicians, Vocalists, Medium Artsts, Sculptors
and Potters. I have learned something from each of them and enjoyed their view and use of the arts. Indeed I have
incorporated many of their art forms into my own and found a richness of spirit that I didn't have before. Many
thanks to all of you..
This has been (and still is) a busy and productive holiday season. Costumes, Rehearsals, Performances.
Some of our Dancers performed in the WS Christmas Parade and it was a huge success! They
put on a great show and (I must say) looked very professional, in step, in time, and their love of dance showed every step
of the way. I am so proud of them. It was so cold and noone complained.
The
children were perfectly behaved, and had winning smiles and waves for everyone.
Thanks
to Diane (the head reindeer) and Kate (the head Mother) who kept all our little ones safe and happy.
The WS Jaycees did a wonderful job of getting the parade together and making it a fun and safe
event for everyone.
It is such a Joy to be home this Holiday season.
Thanks to Mallory Graham for his cooperation on the Latitude feature article I wrote about did on him this year.
Judy Baylin has been a steady and resolute friend and ally. She and Mallory have kept my chin up when I couldn't.
I wish you dance. Pamela
